Cabinet on the left The Peninsula Fire District protects an area of approximately 17
square miles of land and water with a population of 1183 (2000 census)
that increases to approx 5000+ during the summer months. Providing fire suppression, Advanced Life
Support ambulance service , Dive Rescue and ice
rescue from our 16 foot hovercraft .
Peninsula Fire District provides ALS response and transport for the
citizens of the Hamilton Branch Fire District Peninsula
Fire District currently provides management and staffing for Hamilton
Branch Fire District. Peninsula Fire District is also
home to OES 265, this Engine is owned by the State of California Office
of Emergency Services and
on loan to PFD. PFD on order will staff this engine in times of disaster
for response anywhere in California

Mission Statement -
This Fire District is organized to provide for life and
property safety from the threat of forest and structure fires, natural or
man-made disasters, and medical emergencies. This will be accomplished
through preplanning, prevention, education, training, incident mitigation
and appropriate application of ever changing technology.
To maximize the ability to cope with major
conflagrations the District will receive and/or provide mutual-aid
assistance to other fire/ambulance agencies.
